This incident caused the temporary closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking area.

Two more people are now in custody related to a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport in which 21 people were injured by a substance believed to be pepper spray, according to law enforcement.

A 24-year-old man, was taken into custody in Lambeth for suspected theft and assault and a woman, 23 was detained on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, the force said.

These detentions come after an investigation into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Prior to the attack, a pair of female travelers had stolen from them their luggage after getting out of a parking garage elevator.

A toddler aged three was among the those hurt in the event. A total of five individuals were taken to the hospital for medical care and have since been released.

Officers detained a man in his thirties on suspicion of robbery and assault close to the scene. He has since been released under investigation while inquiries continue.

Authorities were alerted at approximately 08:10 GMT following reports of several individuals injured by a noxious substance thought to be pepper spray.

The assault - an event that authorities stated was isolated and not considered an act of terror - resulted in train delays and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park briefly.
